Storybook Gardens

Our annual tradition is to spend the day at Storybook gardens-something I did as a child many, many times. Although it has changed quite a bit since the old days it is always fun, and today was no different. We had Liam with us and met Auntie Casandra and Sienna there. We even got to ride the Merry Go Round at the end.

Lunch With Sarah C

I am so honored as always that my friends Sarah and Dan always make a trip down to London to see us when we come home. They live in Ottawa so it is a far trek. They are moving to Toronto in September so hopefully we will be able to see them more often and even stay the night. I can't wait to see their new house. Our Anniversary

Today represented 7 years of marriage for us. That is a long time, but not as long as 14 years which is how long we have known each other. We celebrated very low key at home with a juicy steak dinner cooked on Jay's new Weber Grill (cooked to perfection I might add) and a Little Penguin ( my new favorite wine). 4th of July

Today was my big race day but since I was all by myself I don't have any pictures to share. I place 166th out of about 240 people. I was impressed that I actually finished, didn't embarass myself and ran the whole thing.

That afternoon we went to Johnny and Kim's house for a pool party barbeque. Then that evening fireworks in Georgetown!! All in all a great day.

Pony Rides

These are from a little festival they had in San Gabriel Park over the holiday. It was unbearably hot so all we did was the pony rides and then got out of there!! Way too hot!

4th of July Party
