Cousins

Alex considers his cousin Liam his brother. They fight like brothers but they also love each other like brothers. This is them in Gibbons park this summer feeding the ducks. Gibbons has the best climbing trees ever. This particular one is huge and the boys loved to climb it and pretend it was their house. Sometimes I would be invited in but mostly I had to have the tree on the other side and wait for an invite to the cool tree.

Montreal Bound

These are just a few of the pictures from Montreal this summer. Alex and I took the train to visit my best friends Kelly and Stacey and their kids. The trip was a huge success-too much fun!! Alex had a ball with Quinsea and Keidi and thought Conaugh was the coolest. Catriona and Alex didn't show too much interest in one another except for a toddler curiousity. Kelly's mum was the hostest with the mostest and kept our bellies full and our wine glasses fuller with her homemade wine. It was so good to catch up on old times and hear all about the goings on in Ireland and Norway. I hadn't seen the girls (kiedi and Quinsea) since we went to Japan 5 years ago and before that they were the flower girls in our wedding. They have grown into beautiful young girls who are just as beautiful inside as they are out!! They pretty much babysat Alex the whole time while I drank wine with Stacey and Kelly!! Thanks Girls!!

A Trip to Port Stanley

No trip to Canada is complete without a trip to the beach. When David and Amy went to Ottawa we took all the kids to Port Stanley (Lake Erie) for the morning. Although the trip was really fun I must admit that I was really nervous having all three kids in the water even when Ava and Alex were really only on shore. Port Stanley has a really bad undertow and the waves were getting quite large. I think they actually had more fun playing in the sand anyway.
