These are a few cute ones taken around town. Being Alex's mum is never boring that's for sure!!

Look at those curls

Jay and I have been debating for a while now if we should cut his hair. It is getting really long and really curly. Jay really wants to keep it long and curly and I want to cut it because it can get unmanageable at times and of course Alex hates having it brushed. Everywhere we go we get compliments on his beautiful hair and it really is nice!! I guess he got his daddy's curls because they did not come from me at all!! We'll let it keep growing through his birthday and then see what happens!!

Pity the Fool

We had a very busy Saturday. We were invited to two birthday parties, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Alex has a better social life than I ever had. They were both princess parties so Alex got his share of princess rings today. He now wears one on almost every finger so we are calling him Mr. T and he thinks that is hilarious even though he has no clue who Mr. T is. Check out the pictures.

Circus in Georgetown

A three ring circus came to Georgetown today. I took Alex and he loved it. They had camels, elephants, dogs and lots of other great things. The actual circus was a little hokey and lost his attention at times, he had more fun playing in the dirt but he did appreciate the animals and their acts, but kind of lost his attention during the acts that captivated me more such as the trapeze and contortionist etc. Here are a few pictures from the afternoon, the actual circus pictures did not come out that well.

First Day of School 2009

Alex started his second year at Creative Beginnings this year. His teacher this year is Ms. Katie and she is really nice. Alex knew her from last year so he was excited to be in her class this year. There is one other boy, Reese, in his class and there are 4 girls. His little friend Larissa is in his class this year again, as well as our friend Mia from the recreation center and she also lives around the corner from us. The first day of school was very fun for all of us. I was probably just as excited if not more than Alex to start school. This year I am the vice president of the school board so I am looking forward to being really involved in all aspects of the school. Here's to a good year!!

B.L.O.R.A.

Alex's friend Adrina invited us to Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA) yesterday. This lake was beautiful with lots of things for kids to do, there was even a car-wash for kids to go through. Unfortunately the water slide was just a little too big for our little ones but they had fun watching Sandra go down. Here are a few of Alex and Adrina on the beach and then back at her house driving Adrina's new Mustang.
