Strawberry Fields Forever!!

These were taken yesterday at Sweetberry Farms in Marble Falls. This is our 4th year visiting the farm and we always have a ball there. It is great to see the changes in Alex year after year, I especially notice Alex growing up when I see him reacting to the goats. The first year we went he wanted nothing to do with them and slowly over the years he is getting braver and braver with them-this year he actually asked me to bring food for them and fed them himself.

Red Poppy 5K

My mum and I registered in the Red Poppy 5K run in Georgetown. This was my mum's first 5K and she did really well. This was sort of a practice run for the Forest City 5 K that we are going to do in London on May 2. I had the pleasure of running with Alex in the stroller giving me orders and telling me to go faster, go right, stop for potty breaks etc. It made for an interesting run.

Capitol 10 K

April 11 th I ran the very fun and fast Cap 10 K in a personal best for me of 49 minutes. It was a really fun race with lots of people dressed in costumes and a general overall good spirit, not to mention running in downtown Austin which is always fun, despite the hills. Tough run so I was quite proud of myself for my PR. Alex and Jay came down to cheer me on which always makes me run faster too!!

City of Georgetown Easter Egg Hunt

We have been participating in this annual event now for 4 years and every year I get the same reaction from Alex...not interested in getting the candy but more interested in surveying the scene around him and looking for bugs. I don't blame him the candy is horrible.
